TRAVEL TUESDAY : NATIONAL TRAVEL & TOURISM WEEK
This year’s National Travel and Tourism Week marks the 35th anniversary of the 1983 congressional resolution that established NTTW—and it’s all about celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of the U.S. travel community over the course of the last several decades! As we begin to prepare our summer vacations, I thought I would pull out my old photos from 2005 from one of the most iconic US travel destinations, Walt Disney World. The theme for 2018 is Travel Then and Now and what better way to celebrate family and travel then with Mickey Mouse!
Travel is a great investment and it’s an experience you’ll never regret! US Travel is really important. While traveling the world is great, discovering our own backyard brings appreciation for all that we have as a country. Although I am not a travel professional that plans trips I am so glad to have had the experience of planning trips for people all over this country and for my family. I hope this year you’ll consider taking a vacation this year. As busy entrepreneur moms, taking time off can be a task on it’s own, but before you know it your kids grow up and all you have are memories. I’m so glad my sister and I took this vacation with my son. This trips was priceless. It was all of our first time at Disney and my son was a Disney Kid so he was very excited to see all of his “friends” in real life! Take a look at a few of our MANY pictures from our travel THEN and share your travel experience this week. Later on in the week I will share my NOW plans for US travel. Enjoy!
