10 PRODUCTS I NEVER TRAVEL WITHOUT
As much as I love to travel, it can be hard with delayed flights, re routes, cancellations and the length of a trip travel can be taxing. There are a few products that help to make my trips pleasant!
- NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES
I enjoy listening to music when I travel, especially during long trips. To be comfortable and move freely I like bluetooth noise cancelling headphones. I’m able to keep my phone in my purse and not be obstructed with the wire from traditional headphones. Noise isolation reduces distracting background noise and provides a quieter environment, great for sleeping!
2. FACE MIST
On early morning trips, I prefer to go easy on my make-up and after a long trip my face needs a quick “pick-me-up”. Feel fatigue-free and look glowing in an instant with a face mist. This milky, lightweight rose mist helps soften, hydrate and energize your face. When it’s not used as a hydrating mist, use it to help set makeup with a flawless finish and before bedtime especially in a dry climate . spray on after cleansing to hydrate and envelop skin in moisture.
3. PORTABLE CHARGERS
More an more airports and cafes have usb ports and charging stations, but they are typically crowded and in use. I keep a portable charger in my purse to ensure my entertainment last throughout the trip.
4. PONCHO/ WRAP
Some travelers prefer a scarf when traveling, but I prefer a full blanket! I can’t count the the times, it’s been too cold in the airport or on the plane and I needed a REAL blanket and not those little blankets that they hand out on the plane. Actual blankets are too big and bulky so I opt for a poncho which is lighter than a blanket with the same amount of coverage.
5. FACIAL TOWELETTES
I use towelettes to remove my make up on a long flight or if it’s a red eye flight before I apply my hydrating face mist.
6. TRAVEL CUBES
I MUST compartmentalize my things! Travel cubes are essential when I travel.
7. COMPUTER SLEEVE/BAG
I always travel with my laptop so keeping it protected is a must!
8. EYE MASK
My eye mask does two things, one, it provides darkness so I can sleep and two it provides a ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ sign for my neighbor and the flight attendant– no pretzel and soda please
9. TRAVEL WALLET
I don’t like to travel with my everyday wallet. I use a travel wallet because it’s bigger than my everyday wallet. A travel wallet has a place for my passport, cash, and tickets. It’s also a great place to keep your travel insurance policy.
I use a turban for early morning, very long and red eye flights. Turbans are great for flights where I plan to sleep and I need to keep my hair looking good. I simply pin curl my hair or braid it and sleep in a turban on the flight.
