DATE NIGHT STYLE IDEAS
TO DATE OR NOT TO DATE… that is the question. WHETHER IT IS IN STYLE OR NOT … now that is the real question. Dating your spouse or dating to find a spouse are two different things. On one hand, you’re wearing your spouses favorite look to reminisce about the days when you first met, or spicing things up for the long haul. Then on the other hand, you have absolutely no idea what your date likes and that’s perfect! If you’re like me you’re single and easing back into the dating world (and my how things have changed) I have no idea what to expect BUT I do know how to dress for it. When you’re single and ready to mingle dress for YOU, try not to anticipate what your date will like to see you wearing. WHY? One, because you don’t know if this is the one and more importantly, you should get dressed for you! Finally, two, dressing for a first date is all about first impressions and it’s important that you share that no matter if it’s a good date or not.

OTHER DATE NIGHT STYLE IDEAS
THE FIRST DATE
In my book, ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR THAT?! 365 Days of Style Tips in style tip #18 I share that if it’s your first date try to stick to classic pieces appropriate for the date and if you’re not sure text your look to a guy friend to see if it’s cool. Guys always tell you the truth (wink). But honestly, if you’re ever in doubt or want a frank answer guys tend to tell you, because men are visual. On the other hand, if you have to ask, take it off. You want to be confident yourself in what you wear. Don’t panic, a little black dress is a first date uniform and fail-proof!
A CASUAL DATE
Whether it’s a concert, movie or miniature golf, a casual look can be a great way to express your personal style, and be comfortable. Being comfortable on a casual date is so important. There is nothing more unattractive than your feet being in pain, tugging on a dress too short or being out of place because you’re too dressed up. When it comes to casual pieces think upgrade. If you wear a t-shirt, wear a nicer dressier option and when it comes to jeans the darker the better especially for the evening, it’s dressier and polished. When it comes to accessories try a pop of color in your heels or if you are wearing sneakers, do not wear the shoes you workout in… PLEASE DON’T
All in all have fun with your style, be comfortable and wear the clothes, don’t let the clothes wear you!
