Living in North Carolina, is beautiful! We get beautiful weather all year.  Preparing for fall is a little difficult because in November we can start with very cool temperatures and progress to very hot temperatures, so light layers are a must.  If you’re like me taking off layers throughout the day is a nice option, but if you do your layers correctly you can keep all of your layers on without over heating.  The first layer is your lightest layer, it sometimes consists of a thin t-shirt, a light henley, sheer top or what I wore a short sleeve denim shirt.  Next, try a longer layer that is slightly heavier.  It can be a long cardigan sweater, flannel shirt or a kimono like I did.  Finally, your last layer should be your heaviest light layer, and that can be a denim jacket, light leather jacket or my favorite, a faux fur vest.  No more than 3 layers for a chic fashion look.  In my book, Are You Going To Wear That?! 365 Days of Style Tips in tip # 26 I say that anymore than three layers will make you look too bulky.  My entire boho inspired look can be shopped in my boutique. Below I have a few additional similar pieces to shop!
