New York Fashion Week : February 11, 2016 Fall 2016

Marissa Webb Fall Winter 2016

Cool girl layering, fun layering and 50 shades of grey for fall.  It’s not Marissa Webb if there are not edgy-girly elements in her design.  I fell in love with her collection in 2013 and knew this would always be a favorite. She knows how to dress a woman , a cool, sophisticated it-girl ! This collection take the heavy fall fabrics and lightens them with shorter hemline showing enough skin so we don’t feel overwhelmed and buried in our fashion

Marissa Webb launched her eponymous label at the Spring 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week gave voice to her personality and exemplified her individual style. Marissa has continued to employ a playful feminine elegance with a cool masculine edge in her subsequent collections. Each collection is created to appeal to the woman who appreciates timeless fashion but maintains the confidence to incorporate contrasting and unexpected pieces.

In April 2014, Marissa was appointed Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Design at Banana Republic. Consequently, Gap Inc. joined Bedrock Manufacturing as a minority investor in Marissa Webb. In October 2015, she transitioned into the role of Creative Adviser at Banana Republic. As she welcomes her new position there, Marissa continues to simultaneously embrace her growing eponymous label.

BCBG Max Azria  Fall Winter 2016

Long layers and body stockings with cutouts! Long over long layers with intricate details embossed in rich faux furs in a fall pallet. The collection is heavy and it works because of the shimmering textiles and details.

Max and Lubov Azria launched the BCBGMAXAZRIA runway collection during New York Fashion Week in the Fall of 1996. In February 2006, the Azrias debuted an exclusive runway designer collection called Max Azria. This line of visionary, sophisticated designs gained an immediate celebrity following among fans like Angelina Jolie, Rachel Bilson and Eva Mendes.

In 1998, BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP acquired the esteemed Hervé Léger fashion house. The Azrias relaunched the label in early 2007 with their own designs which were quickly embraced by celebrities like Kate Winslet, Victoria Beckham, Alicia Keys and Catherine Zeta-Jones. For Fall 2008, Max and Lubov presented Hervé Léger by Max Azria, Max Azria and BCBGMAXAZRIA Runway on the runway, marking the first time that an American designer has ever produced three distinct fashion shows during one New York Fashion Week.
